Democrats running in the U.S. Senate primary may finally get a chance to debate frontrunner John Hickenlooper at a Jan. 26 event in Longmont.

That’s because the forum is hosted by the Longmont Latinx Voice, as opposed to the Democratic Party, which has so far forbidden all of their candidates from actually campaigning against one another in the upcoming primary election.

The party establishment has made it clear they want Hickenlooper to win, and don’t care they are essentially blackballing seven of their own to make it happen.

So we look forward to a spirited debate, finally, among all the candidates on the host’s chosen topics of immigration reform, education, housing, policing, health and the environment, employment, transportation and youth services.
