One of U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper’s staffers should probably head down to the Senate floor to make sure their boss is awake and paying attention.
Hick tweeted this out more than two hours after the trial began and more than an hour after U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse had already delivered the presentation Hickenlooper looked forward to hearing.
Neguse made his case to the Senate jury as to why Democrats think it’s constitutional to convict a former president of an impeachment charge in order to remove him from office … after he’s no longer in office … or something.
To be honest, we also nodded off during Neguse’s presentation.
We might have slept through U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette as well, at least we hope so.
