President Biden has spent all year testing this bumper sticker slogan on our allies overseas, “America is back,” and finally unveiled it here at home on the 4th of July.
But what Biden meant across the pond and what he’s saying here now are completely different things.
He told Europe America is back because Trump is gone and so is his “America First” policy, therefore Europe can once again butt into our business and dictate U.S. policy like in the good old days of King George.
Here at home, Biden’s Independence Day message rang out that America is back, because we are vaxed.
This Fourth of July, America is back.
We’re headed into a summer of joy – of freedom – thanks to the millions of Americans who stepped up to get vaccinated. To the frontline and essential workers who have made this day possible: thank you. pic.twitter.com/g6cztrJDT8

It wasn’t expressly written in the Declaration of Independence that freedom is granted by a syringe, but that seems to be the Democrat Party’s new living document interpretation
Biden says it is our syringe-given right that we are free to travel, open our businesses, graduate from college, get married, and go to the movies to support Hollywood.
The Colorado Democrat Party got the talking points, but judging by their 4th of July post, they found the theme confusing and ended up burying Biden’s bumper sticker slogan in a photo of (gasp) white people, slapped their jackass party logo on some guy’s ass, threw in some liberal guilt talking points and called it a day.
Happy 4th of July!
Today, not only should we celebrate the values of freedom, independence, and self-determination that we hold dear as a state and as a country, but we should also reflect on how we can work together to move our country towards a more perfect union! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/yfrMsg1hhl

Colorado’s Democrat delegation followed suit by phoning in the weakest Independence Day messages imaginable.
U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette didn’t even bother acknowledging America’s 245th birthday.
As for the rest …
Gov. Polis doubled-down on his shortcomings:
🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸

U.S. Rep. Jason Crow is a veteran, so he can’t pretend like the others that it was just a date and nothing more.
But If you’re not working to keep others safe, you’re not worthy of Crow’s Independence Day wishes.
I believe in this country.
I believe in its people.
I believe the promise of America is something worth fighting for.Happy #IndependenceDay to our troops, first responders, health care professionals, and all who are working to keep us safe today and every day.

Meanwhile, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter is working hard to free us from British rule.
Today we celebrate Americans’ resilience & our enduring fight for freedom. I’m grateful to be able to celebrate our independence w/family & friends & I look forward to continuing to work to ensure the vision of our Declaration of Independence is a reality for all. #Happy4th pic.twitter.com/mTQL9UyhL7

Over on the Republican side of the aisle, patriotism came naturally.
The most wholesome holiday wishes came from Colorado’s Republican Party Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown:
Happy #FourthofJuly!! Here’s to freedom, faith, family, and my mom’s food!! #copolitics pic.twitter.com/IvbVQiq8Dr

U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn gave America a big ole bearhug:
245 years ago, our founders declared independence & created a nation on the principles of liberty, faith & freedom. While leftists try to tear America down, we must remain committed to these principles. America truly is a great country. Happy 4th of July & God Bless America. pic.twitter.com/NwYhs3HmPA

U.S. Rep. Ken Buck checked all the patriot boxes:
245 years ago today, America was founded on the principles of liberty and freedom.
Happy Independence Day to the greatest nation in the world. God Bless America! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/n5bxyxcygZ
— Rep. Ken Buck (@RepKenBuck) July 4, 2021
And prolific tweeter U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert pushed out several pro American messages including this one:
America is the greatest country in the world. We are a nation defined by freedom and liberty.
Happy Independence Day! pic.twitter.com/lNt3Fq9CAG

Despite the self-loathing of their liberal base, it appears some Democrats finally get the message most Americans actually love their country — just like the Dreamers who want American citizenship and the migrants they are encouraging to stream across our border.
They’re at least willing to say the words, America is back, they’re just not ready yet to mean it.
