Upon learning he has been targeted for defeat by national GOP campaign committees, the political braintrust behind Colorado U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter had an aneurysm.
How else to explain their decision to hitch a ride on Vice President Kamala Harris’s rudderless boat?
When asked in a recent poll which Democrat they would support in the 2024 presidential election, nearly half of all respondents declined to pick any of the candidates.
Harris came in first place with a pathetically meager 13%.
Kamala has become so toxic, her communications director quit last month, her spokeswoman resigned this week, and her head of press operations is on his way out the door.
So by all means, put Perlmutter aboard that sinking ship.
