Colorado Democrats are spreading the climate word the planet has been saved thanks to their miraculous bill that subsidizes windows, electric vehicles, and home heating systems that also requires electricity still fueled by coal.
What folks like U.S. Sens. Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper aren’t telling voters, is how this non-planet saving, tax and spending bill relies on working class Americans to fork over billions more in new taxes.
Oh, and it doesn’t even reduce inflation, Hickenlooper accidentally admits.
John’s right, this won’t affect inflation.
Everybody knows it.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act relies on an additional $20 billion more in taxes from Americans earning less than $400,000, that will soon be discovered by thousands of new IRS agents.
Read it and weep.
Inflation Reduction Act will cost middle class $20B in new taxes: CBO

The House just passed the #InflationReductionAct that the Senate passed on Sunday. We’re one step closer to making the single largest investment in fighting climate change in American history.

Also, if the government is going to spend $1.5 billion to plant more trees, it would be great if they actually managed the trees responsibly so as not to spark, you know, more forest fires.
Just for future reference, we will be blaming the government and not climate change when that happens, again.
