Peak has preached until red in the face against the Colorado establishment media for obsessing over a former president they despise and using him to try and tarnish every Republican candidate running for office this year.

Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.

It’s been the number one question on every reporter’s lips, and pretty much every question thereafter.

Do you support Trump? Do you think the election was stolen? Will you vote for Trump again? Do you think Trump should run again? Do you think Biden’s doing a good job with the … oops, Freudian slip. The current president is actually relevant, our bad.

Now comes Colorado Public Radio just weeks before the election with the explosive revelation that they spent the summer interviewing some 250 Coloradans as to what issues they really care about and want candidates to address.

Spoiler alert: We conducted an article search for the word “Trump” and it came up zip, nadda, zero, not an issue.

Number one on voters’ minds was the economy, stupid.

Bridging the political divide came in second, along with good government, followed by abortion. However, only 15% of those interviewed said abortion was an issue they wanted to hear from candidates about.

Next on the list came climate change and the environment, although the article acknowledged these issues weren’t as big a concern as in past elections.

Rounding up the list was crime.

Not imaginary crimes Trump et al might have committed, but street crimes, and drug overdoses, homelessness, and the open border.

You know, real issues that threaten to get Democrats kicked out of office and replaced by Republicans.

Those are the issues that will drive Colorado voters to mail in their ballots.

No wonder the mainstream media was obsessed with Trump.
