A new poll funded by progressives is spinning itself silly to laughably suggest Western Slope Republicans and conservatives would elect a leftist from Aspen to represent their interests in Congress.

Progressives really jumped the shark in their hate for Republican U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert on this one.

The poll doesn’t even reveal how many Republicans or Democrats were included as “likely voters” in the 500 sample — that included yet another 100 independents.

But buried beneath all the rhetoric on social media about the poll, it turns out Boebert’s 42% favorable number actually trumps their own progressive candidate Adam Frisch.

As a matter of fact, Frisch came in dead last with 34%, behind Joe Biden’s 36%, favorability.

Donald Trump had more favorable points than Frisch with 45%.

It’s only after the push poll feeds a bunch of garbage to participants that Frisch managed to pull even with Boebert, but even her numbers went up as well.

Also, the oil and gas industry are viewed more favorably than Planned Parenthood and clean energy among those Western Slope voters.

No matter how they tried to twist and turn, the Progress Now Colorado poll did not show conservatives or Republicans on the Western Slope are ready to support a progressive for Congress.

Here’s the twist: Among the “non-very conservative Republicans,” 60% chose Boebert, 24% went with Frisch.

And the turn: Among the “very conservative Republicans,” Boebert took 97% to Frisch’s 3%.

Just because 55% of the total agreed her staff promoted the Congresswoman too much on social media does not mean Boebert’s is “highly vulnerable because she is woefully out of step” with District 3 voters.
