Democrats finally scored a win in their battle to save democracy by stabbing it in the heart and refusing to let voters choose which candidate they support in the Republican Party’s primary election.
Free elections are so 20th Century for Colorado, where our state Supreme Court has ordered Donald Trump be banned from ballots in the 2024 presidential race.
The 4-3 decision by a panel of judges who were all Democrat appointees, determined Trump is ineligible to hold office because a temper tantrum and protest going berserk is the same thing as ceding 11 states from the union, and going to war for four years resulting in the deaths of 620,000 Americans.
Jan. 6 was just like the Civil War.
From the Denver Gazette:
“We do not reach these conclusions lightly. We are mindful of the magnitude and weight of the questions now before us. We are likewise mindful of our solemn duty to apply the law, without fear or favor, and without being swayed by public reaction to the decisions that the law mandates we reach,” the opinion from the four-justice majority read.
Democrats, independents, and even many Republicans have come to fear Trump as instructed by the media and Hollywood elites, believing the world will certainly end if a revenge-obsessed Trump is reelected.
What they fail to see, or don’t really care, is the detrimental and long-lasting effect of using the courts to effectively steal an election for a decrepit old man in the White House who is getting whipped in the polls by the seemingly most hated man in America.
It’s not a done deal of course.
The next stop for this case is the U.S. Supreme Court.
