The usual suspects turned out Saturday to stomp their feet in protest of Trump’s ongoing deportation effort of criminals in this country illegally, but the feds ignored them and conducted their first Colorado raid anyway.

No grandmothers were taken into custody and no schools were raided, just a warehouse that illegal migrants had turned into a pop-up nightclub.

Despite the resistance in Aurora, the Adams County raid rounded up nearly 50 people. All but eight of whom were here illegally, and dozens were suspected Venezuelan gang members. Guns, drugs and money were confiscated.

From the Denver Post which of course covered the protest:

“We’ve all heard Trump’s rhetoric — the xenophobia, the racism, the misogyny, the transphobia and the absolute loathing for marginalized people all over the world,” Kat Draken of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization told attendees.

Who knew armed gang members partying it up with pink cocaine were so marginalized?

Draken went on to insist:

“We’re not going to just sit around and do nothing for the next four years. We’re going to continue resisting. We’re going to continue to be out in the streets. We’re going to do everything we can to make the U.S. ungovernable. And as we do this, we’re going to build up the people’s organizations.”

So that’s the plan of the progressive wing of the Democrat Party — undermine Democracy by making the U.S. ungovernable.

So far, their resistance movement in Colorado is 0-1.

Hangers on at Saturday’s protest included the usual subset of suspects of nearly every Democrat event these days:

Besides the president’s stance on immigration, speakers also expressed opposition to U.S. support for Israel’s military intervention in the Gaza Strip and conservative positions on LBGTQ+ issues and other topics expressed by Trump and his allies.

No word on whether the women’s march folks with the pink pussy hats are even invited to leftist protests anymore, seeing as how trans trumps girls nowadays.
