Colorado Democrats terrified the migrant community for weeks with foreboding tales of immigration raids on schools to take away children, and hospitals targeting the sick and elderly.

Their friends in the media echoed all those threats.

And when the raids finally materialized last week targeting Tren de Aragua gang members and criminals — just as the Trump administration said for weeks — the media went right back to work with tragic stories about children missing school for fear of raids.

Instead, the children were at home when the raids went down at targeted apartment complexes in Denver and Aurora where the known criminals were also located.

But instead of the 100 targeted criminals being escorted away in handcuffs, only one TdA member was captured.

Someone had warned the criminals to vamoose, because immigration was on the way.

But who leaked it?

Federal immigration officials blamed the media for the leak, an easy target as a Denver reporter had embedded with a family of illegal migrants who lived in one of the targeted buildings.

Another news crew was embedded with law enforcement to go on the raid — an incredible act of transparency for the Trump administration.

And the so-called non-profits and NGO advocates for illegal migrants were on the scene yelling through bullhorns urging occupants to refuse to cooperate, telling them not to snitch.

And when the intended arrests failed to materialize, the media headlines mocked law enforcement for only catching one gang member.

Media reports revealed numerous illegal migrants were also living at these complexes and yet failed to note they weren’t all hauled away for simply being in this country illegally, as Democrats had predicted.

Immigration was looking for the gang members and other criminals.

The advocates on the scene weren’t protecting so-called dreamers and may have even helped violent TdA members and criminals get away from law enforcement with their antics.

Adding injury to insult, their media friends demanded to have immediate proof the one suspect was in fact TdA, then called the association into question because the suspect wasn’t immediately marched into court and put on trial.

It’s a toss-up whether some journalists are really that ignorant, or just duplicitous.

Clearly someone leaked information to advocates about the Colorado raids.

One activist idented only as “V Reeves” told the Denverite reporter who was embedded overnight with a family in a targeted Aurora complex before the Wednesday raid:

Rest was especially difficult to find on Tuesday. Reeves had heard the delayed raid might actually happen on Wednesday morning, and residents idled by on their phones and in front of TVs, waiting for something to happen.

Yet now it appears the leak is coming from within the Justice Department.

This Los Angeles Times headline from Friday informs:

Leaked document says ‘large scale’ immigration enforcement action coming soon to L.A.

A federal law enforcement source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals, said agents with the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Los Angeles field offices are being called in to assist.

Not only are these leaks aiding and abetting criminals, but it is putting law enforcement lives at risk.

Ultimately, it is putting the community at risk of continuing to be victimized by the very criminals and violent gang members who are being aided by these leaks and assistance from so-called advocates.

It’s a toss-up whether those people are really so ignorant, or just duplicitous.
