Paul Weissmann, the Boulder County trustee who treats that job as a part-time gig, apparently thinks Monday mornings are a good time to play politics, rather than show up to his $72,500 a year taxpayer funded job as Boulder County trustee.

A reader sent in the pic to the right of Weissmann entering the offices of teachers’ union Colorado Education Association for the Democrats’ weekly meeting this morning.

(He’s wearing the Broncos jacket)

What do you think Boulder County residents who are being foreclosed on think about Weissmann spending Monday mornings at a special interest’s offices offering political advice to Democrats?

It’s not like there is a housing problem in Colorado, or that Weissmann’s job as public trustee is to handle that.
