Second amendment advocate Laura Carno took to the airwaves to explain a program she leads, FASTER (Faculty/Administrator Safety Training and Emergency Response), which provides advanced training for school staff who are considered to be armed first responders in the unfortunate event of a school shooting. The program is not without controversy, after all, the teachers union vacillates between saying hell no and wanting more money for teachers to carry a concealed weapon.

Regardless of where you are on teachers carrying a concealed weapon, Carno makes a pretty compelling argument for the program. Her best line(s)?

“There is nothing worse than a bad guy – one of these monsters – executing child after child with nobody to stop him. I will take anything over that. That is the worst-case scenario.”
