OCTOBER 29: GOP Still Leading In Ballots Returned, Romney Winning Independents Who Have Voted Already

The latest numbers from the Secretary of State for ballots returned as of October 29 show Republicans still leading, though with a slightly smaller advantage compared to last week.

R – 309,221 (38.5%)

D – 289,733 (36.0%)

U – 197,308 (24.5%)

The latest Purple Poll — a bipartisan firm — has Romney winning Unaffiliated/Independent voters in Colorado who have already returned their ballot 48/39.
