Trump voters aren’t the only ones getting hassled by Big Tech.

We received a warning from Google mail not to click on a Google news alert for Jared Polis, as similar messages were being reported as phishing scams.

The warning was not limited to a specific link in the alert, but the entire email.

The Google news alert blocked us from clicking on links to stories about judicial appointments, road funding, COVID-19, the governor’s citizenship medals, Monument rebuking Polis’s pandemic restrictions, Polis’s snarky comments on Boebert, and a story comparing the popularity of vaccines to Lady Gaga tickets.

The alert gives the option to “report dangerous” or mark it as “looks safe.”

After considerable thought, we decided it was a trick question and deleted the whole batch.

Google might be onto something, but should give us the option to agree some of the news looks safe, but should still be reported as dangerous.
