As the clock ticks toward 5 p.m. Beltway time, we can’t help but notice that Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet is on the floor talking about reforming student loans to help (checks notes) those who don’t go to college.
I’m heading to the Senate floor to call for reform to America’s broken student loan system and new pathways to economic opportunity for all, especially the 70% of Americans who don’t go to college.

A few hours earlier, Bennet was tweeting about how great it is President Biden will delay any additional tariffs on the Chinese related to human rights abuses to once again allow cheap solar panels to flood the U.S. and undercut domestic production in order to meet phony baloney climate goals.
.@POTUS responded to our calls to provide relief to American solar from @CommerceGov‘s harmful tariffs investigation.
This is an important step to give Colorado solar companies the certainty needed to advance new projects, grow their workforce, and help meet our climate goals. https://t.co/M5aGXbMWyy

Also on Bennet’s plate, talking about how beautiful Colorado is and inviting comment from constituents to agree with him and designate stuff.
Not on the U.S. Senator’s to do list, apparently, was to recognize that today is in fact the 78th anniversary of D-Day, or make any statement honoring the tremendous sacrifices or our armed forces that day in giving their lives to liberate Europe from the Nazis.
Maybe our post will help remind him.
