Now that California regulators are giving residents one decade to buy a gasoline car before sales of those vehicles are outlawed, Coloradans are worried Gov. Polis will order his administration to follow suit, just like he always does.
CNN seems to think Colorado will be right on California’s heels.
Multiple states are expected to follow suit. Already, 15 states including Colorado and Minnesota, as well as states on the Northeast and West Coast followed California’s previous zero-emission vehicle regulations.
So does Business Insider.
Governor Jared Polis said the state is taking action to achieve 100% renewable energy in Colorado by 2040.
And Slate:
According to the Alliance for Automotive Innovation’s own reports, sales of EVs in every single state increased by some amount in 2021, with significant above-average jumps in states like Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, and even Oklahoma. And states like these were already on track to enact similar bans to California’s in the coming years.
This guy is clearly, and literally on board:
Electric buses and vehicle-to-grid technology will make our air cleaner and fight climate change.

And this guy is campaigning on the new climate revolution to get reelected.
The Inflation Reduction Act will put us on track to reduce climate pollution 40% by the end of the decade.
And it will position America to lead the world in our urgent fight against climate change. pic.twitter.com/XYsA0qTa74

The problem with so-called climate justice, is that only the poor on welfare and wealthy Americans will be able to pay their bill, and the middle class will have been effectively eliminated.
The poor will take public transportation, ride bikes or walk to work, and the rich will ride in luxury electric vehicles.
And that’s the real progressive agenda.
