Democrats are so desperate for candidates to run for office it looks like they’re skipping any basic qualifications for the seat and just scrapping the bottom of the barrel seizing on any muck that floats to the top.

Colorado’s bench is so weak, Auon’tai “Tay” Anderson is skipping his reelection run for a second term on the Denver school board and instead trying to pole vault his way to the District 8 state House seat being vacated by term-limited Leslie Herod.

Democrats are also trying to recycle tainted politicians like Rochelle Galindo, who formerly represented House District 50 in Greeley, to run for another state House seat.

From Page Two over at Complete Colorado:

A former state legislator who resigned in 2019 amid allegations she sexually assaulted and served alcohol and marijuana to two underage campaign workers has put her name in the mix to replace Serena Gonzales-Guiterrez at the state representative of House District 4, a northwest Denver legislative district.

Controversy has followed Galindo throughout her political career, which Page Two details at length.

She has relocated and is vying for the seat vacated by Serena Gonzales-Guiterrez, who was recently elected to the Denver City Council.

It will be interesting to see if Galindo’s friendship with Colorado’s newly elected Democrat Party Secretary Adrian Felix pays off, and the vacancy committee of precinct party leaders selects her to replace Gonzales-Guiterrez before the legislature reconvenes in January.
