Protesting for peace on earth and an end to war is as American as your hippie great grandparents’ dirty jeans and rock-n-roll t-shirs.

But marching alongside those Palestinians who celebrate the unholy attack on Israel that came with such viciousness never seen in our lifetimes, while calling for the annihilation of the Jewish state?

It’s ignorance that borders on terrorism, which was on full display Saturday on the steps of the state Capitol as hundreds rallied to free Palestinians from Hamas and called for a cease fire to Israel’s determination to wipe out the terrorist organization Hamas.

Not a lot of rainbow flags in that crowd of so many white Americans demanding human rights while misappropriating a culture with the Palestinian keffiyehand draped around their necks.

Meanwhile on the Capitol steps, cheers to wipe Israel off the map with “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

Here’s the transcript of the speaker condemning Polis:

“Our pathetic governor is going to be in this building. Jared Polis, we the people call you out by name. Your evil words, and your hands, you have blood on your hands!”

“You’re asking for money to send to an apartheid state, while our neighbors sleep in the streets. You should be ashamed of yourself. Shame on you!”

“We are not going to let them come here quietly. We are not going to give them a moment of peace. …. They will be disgracing our city and we’re going to let them hear it.”

“Free, free, Palestine!”

“Long live Palestine!”

“From the river to the sea Palestine will be free!”

What did Colorado’s Jewish, gay governor say in his proclamation?

“Antisemitism, like all forms of hate, threatens all Coloradans,” the proclamation says.

“In Colorado, we value and are committed to protecting everyone’s right to safely practice their religion and express who they are,” the proclamation reads. “Calls for violence against Jews in Colorado and across the world, exacerbated by recent terrorist attacks targeting Jews in Israel by Hamas, continue to undermine safety and security of Jewish Coloradans.”

We don’t agree with Polis on … most everything, but his proclamation is not wrong.

Democrat state Rep. Iman Jodeh was also a speaker, but didn’t defend her governor. She also didn’t defend the country or state she took an oath to support and defend, but instead declared herself the “Palestinian legislator in that building.”

No word on whether embattled state Rep. Tim Hernandez showed up.

Are your kids protesting with a crowd that defends the unholy attack by Hamas on Israel that ignited a war? Calling for Israel to stand down and let Hamas continue on its killing spree chopping off children’s heads and burning them and their mothers alive until Israel is wiped off the face of the Earth?

If so, you might just be raising a terrorist.

These protests may appear peaceful, but it’s the most deceitful and hateful rhetoric uttered on these shores in a generation, under our constitution guaranteeing their freedom to say it.
