The Denver chapter of socialist Democrats has endorsed Tim Hernandez, the poster child of misplaced radicalism, to represent the city’s fourth district in the state House.

Hernandez was appointed by Democrat Party bosses through a vacancy committee recently to fill the term through November 2024, after Democratic state Rep. Serena Gonzales-Gutierre abandoned her seat midterm to run for Denver City Council.

That’s how Democrats are subverting democracy these days, through the vacancy committee process, whereby they appoint favored Democrats to expired terms and as a bonus they block Republicans from competing.

But we digress.

The Democrat Socialists of America announced its endorsement this week, citing Hernandez’s frontline struggle against racism and gentrification.

And yet, the reputation Hernandez has earned in his few months as a lawmaker is that of an antisemite and racial appropriator.

PeakNation™ will recall that just hours after the October attack, Hernandez was celebrating the Hamas slaughter of 1,200 in Israel including dozens of Americans, which ignited a war between the Jewish state and the Palestinian government.

It took weeks for Hernandez to finally criticize the attack in a strange video that lacked believability.

And when the Denver chapter of socialists justified the Hamas attacks weeks later, Hernandez was mum.

He’s since replaced the American flag with the Palestinian flag on his desk in the state House.

Hernandez has drawn a challenger in the Democrat primary from Cecelia Espenoza, a retired appellate judge who was passed over by the vacancy committee.
