Colorado Democrats seem determined to ignore the growing chorus of outrage over state Rep. Tim Hernandez’s flippant behavior when asked about the gruesome and inhumane attack on Israel that has sparked war in the Mideast.

The vast majority of Republican state House lawmakers have asked the Democrat caucus to expel their newly appointed 4th District legislator from that seat.

“The principles of free speech, which we have all sworn to protect, are not endowed to simply protect speech with which we all agree. That God given right protects especially speech deemed offensive. In nearly all cases, it is the People, not elected officials, who should expel or otherwise permanently censure any elected official who wades into serious speech indiscretions by use of the ballot box or with a recall vote,” the lawmakers wrote.

“That said, there are rare times when those powers are warranted. Whenever there is a call to openly support the murder, rape, and kidnapping of men, women, and children based on their ethnicity or nationality, such a time is realized.”

Signers include Reps. Brandi Bradley, Scott Bottoms, Stephanie Luck, Ken DeGraaf, Ryan Armagost,Ty Winter, Rick Taggart, Mike Lynch, Richard Holtorf, Anthony Hartsook, Mary Bradfield. Rose Pugliesi, Lisa Frizell, Don Wilson, and Marc Catlin.

The establishment Colorado media also seems torn between propping up Palestinian sympathizers who show no remorse for the atrocities committed against women, children and Holocaust survivors. They mourn only their own causalities that are coming as Israelis begin to with back.

The hypocrisy of demanding peace after slaughtering Jews on a scale not seen since the Holocaust is lost on them.

And the media.

And the Democrat leaders of Colorado.

The Washington Times however reports on the growing scandal of Hernandez’s behavior:

The Colorado Republican Party said he was “a disgrace to the Colorado House of Representatives and should resign immediately,” while former Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley has whipped up opposition to Mr. Hernandez on social media.

“Guess what @_timhernandez I’m not going anywhere,” tweeted Mr. Stokley, who hosts a sports talk show on radio station KKFM, 104.3 the Fan.

“Some of my best friends are Jewish right here in Colorado and I stand with them and Israel. No backtracking now buddy. I’ve seen all I need to see and so will everyone else,” the star pass-catcher said.

The Denver Post editorial board gave Hernandez a good spanking, but sent their reporters out the next day to make up for it with some propaganda.

The Gazette also called for Hernandez to be removed from office:

President Joe Biden minced no words Tuesday when describing the terrorist attacks on Israel. We hope Colorado’s Democratic leaders heard their party’s highest-ranking member loud and clear.

If they listened, they should immediately deal with their latest hand-picked legislator … Anything less than his resignation or removal at the start of the session in January amounts to tacit approval of what Biden described in gruesome detail.

For those of you living under a rock, or forbidden by your 4th century brother-husband from watching the news and missed what’s happening, Biden vividly recapped the war crimes committed by the Palestinian people’s elected government, Hamas:

“You know, there are moments in this life — and I mean this literally — when pure, unadulterated evil is unleashed on this world.”

“The people of Israel lived through one such moment this weekend. The bloody hands of the terrorist organization Hamas — a group whose stated purpose for being is to kill Jews.”

“Stomach-turning reports of being — babies being killed,” Biden said.

“Entire families slain. Young people massacred while attending a musical festival to celebrate peace — to celebrate peace! Women raped, assaulted, paraded as trophies… Holocaust survivors abducted and held hostage — hostages whom Hamas has now threatened to execute in violation of every human morality.”

And still, Hernandez remains silent, sticking with his initial reaction, “What about it?”
