The Hancock apology tour is playing to limited crowds in the aftermath of Mayor Hancock’s son spouting off vulgar profanities to an Aurora police officer who pulled him over for doing 60 miles per hour in a 45 zone.

As PeakNation™ readers will recall, Jordan Hancock yelled at the officer:

“My dad’s the mayor, you f*#!ing f@got” and “I’m about to get you fired, you f*#!ing b^!ch.”
Mayor Hancock refused to comment on the matter after the videotape was first released (watch it here).

Instead, Hancock issued a statement through city hall that his son had apologized to the police officer. For which comment, or just his overall bratty behavior, we’re not sure.

But now the “Hancock family” has released a rather lengthy statement to the LGBTQ community which was published in Outfront Magazine, apologizing for calling the officer the “F” word.

No word on whether the LGBTQ community has accepted the apology.

As for calling the officer a bitch, we’re still waiting for the next stop on the apology tour where the Hancock family will apologize to women for the demeaning comment.

Stay tuned. Maybe the tour will extend to Aurora, where the Hancock family can apologize for thinking it’s Denver.
