Democrats are starting to pay attention to the polling numbers and have learned that most sane human beings don’t want law and order disbanded.

President Biden’s biggest applause line of the State of the Union speech was when he stole the Republican talking points to stop defunding police.

“We should all agree: The answer is not to defund the police. It’s to fund the police. Fund them. Fund them. Fund them with resources and training,” Biden said.

The media are gushing over the bipartisan love of it all, having clearly forgotten that getting rid of police has been the left’s rallying cry for the last two years.

Oops. They forgot one:

Technically, Tay didn’t say “defund” the police, but “All you motherf*ckers are corrupt” conveys the same sentiment.

Meanwhile, Colorado state lawmakers are trying to play both sides of the law and order message, hoping voters don’t put too fine a point on their meaning.

Like when Gov. Polis held that press conference to look tough on crime, and one of his speakers accidently admitted they have no intention of getting tough on crime.

Voters better wake up. Democrats have no intention of funding the police or altering their soft-on-crime policies, their progressive base won’t let them.
