A Marxist teacher who called for revolution against American “whiteness” was elected by a select panel of Democrats over the weekend to fill the state House seat vacated by Serena Gonzales-Gutierrez who she was elected to Denver City Council.

Tim Hernández, who was let go from Denver Public Schools after only one year of teaching, is now employed by Aurora Public Schools.

From The Colorado Sun:

Hernández made headlines in 2022 when his contract as a Denver Public Schools educator wasn’t renewed. He told 5280 his position wasn’t renewed because “white school leaders did not appreciate the ways that I advocated for students.”

White Denver school leader who didn’t appreciate radical advocacy for students?

He was chosen by the 68-person Democratic vacancy committee that was selected by God only knows who, to represent all the communists living in Northwest Denver’s District 4, and their progressive brothers and sisters.

Just not any white people.

Also from The Sun:

Hernández adds to the growing list of Colorado lawmakers who got a job at the Capitol through a vacancy committee. A Colorado Sun analysis found that nearly a quarter of all Colorado lawmakers serving in the statehouse this year were appointed to a House or Senate seat by a vacancy committee.

Hernández clearly hates white people, and his goal is to literally wipe them off the map, as evidenced by his social media ramblings.

Fox News has the posts:

“If White people spent HALF of the time they spend trying to distance themselves from their Whiteness and instead spent it actually deconstructing systems of White supremacy, where would we be?” he asked. “[S]ystems of white supremacy are upheld by individuals- to remove individuality from this conversation is unproductive… I am absolutely advocating for a Cultural Revolution where we dismantle individual and systemic White supremacy,” he said in January 2021.

“We’re talking about Whiteness and White supremacy. And I’m willing to advocate for any form of disruption to it and every manifestation it has,” he said.

“Am I denying the freedom to uphold White supremacy? If so, I am in favor of that denial. And, White supremacy is CURRENTLY upheld by force. So yes, I’m advocating a FORCEFUL cultural revolution wherein we assert the dignity of life for all at the expense of White supremacy.”

Hernández won with more than 57% of the vote, beating out former state Rep. Rochelle Galindo and retired appellate Judge Cecelia Espenoza.

“It’s time for the next generation to lead on our Democratic values from a place of lived experiences,” he added.

As opposed to what? Places of dead experiences, like communism?

More from our new Marxist state Rep:

“What I think is happening in our schools, what I think is showing up in my classroom, is a lot of the things that we get into ideological circles up here. We like to compete who knows Marx better, who knows these things better, who’s a Leninist. Listen, all right, I’ll give you a real take on this s—t. Kids don’t care,” he said.

“Your [communist] theory will not save you. The revolution… will happen in the hood. It will not be led by who understand Lenin best, it will not be led by the deepest Marxists. The revolution will be led by the people…. And I say all of this because I’m a teacher.”

His will be an interesting time in office. The jokes are just going to write themselves.
